I joined the Knights of Columbus last week.:)

Some info about the Knights:
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

Scott, they are really strong in Texas. Mostly in the small towns. They have halls that they meet but they kinda keep to themselves. I have never even met one and I know a lot of catholics around the central Texas area. Are you a memeber of this organization ?

What do you know about them and what do they do at their meetings. It is only for men correct?

Hiya robtex,

I joined the Knights last week, and yes, membership is for men only, but women play an active role in our charitable works.

If you'd like to know more about the organization, you can click on the link I provided above.

As far as the meetings.... I have not been to one yet... I'll let you know!
