your spouse isn't sacred to you because of Love? Love is an idea that is personified, manifested between self and other as self.

love is two bodies being of one mind, or one Spirit.

the word spiritual is a synonym for the word mental

The bible teaches that obedience to God is exclusively good and best.
Obedience to God is summed up in the Ten Commandments.
The first commands that we have no other Gods before God.

It also states that God is not a respecter of persons, but of righteousness. No matter who one might be, if one does right, they will be rewarded -and if one does wrong, they will be corrected.

As for one particular "religion" -or specific religious observances, the bible specifies that those given by God himself are good and best.

The weekly sabbath, Passover, days of unleaded bread, Pentecost, feast of trumpets, day of atonement, feast of tabernacles and last great day are specified to have been given by God.

Though they were given first to Israel, the bible states that the entire world will keep the feast of tabernacles -though when that happens, many of all the peoples of the earth will have already been made immortal and will reign as kings and priests on Earth under Christ -not just Israelites.

Israel was chosen for a specific purpose -but the order in which God deals with man will ultimately not be important to the well-being of all, as all will be given opportunity to live forever in peace and happiness. It does specify that things will happen to Israel first -but eventually to all -and what happened first will not be an issue later.

Zech 14:16Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths. 17And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, there will be no rain on them.

my cup runneth over because I dwell in the house.

one is always first responsible for self and the Lord within; especially as regards need. the kingdom of god comes from within self because the body is the temple, the house of the Lord. once one is filled with love and overflowing then one is responsible for nurturing of others as self.

    John 4:14
but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

    Mark 9:41
Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.

No offense meant here, but I'm not sure I can count the Abrahamic religions up there with Hinduism and Buddhism- or even most earth-centered, polytheistic traditions with their philosophical schools. The dogma and insistence on orthodoxy/correct 'belief' puts the Abrahamic religions apart. That simply isn't how other worldviews see things. Other worldviews are typically pluralistic. Naturally, the Abrahamics probably feel the opposite- that the lack of orthodoxy in other worldviews is a bad thing.

I don't think Christianity or the biblical scriptures necessarily have verses which promote themselves as exclusively good or the best in a religious sense, although it is often mistakenly assumed or claimed they do. There are definitely verses which claim that Jesus is exclusively good...

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. John 11:10

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
    John 11:25

Such brainwashing. Humans are as intelligent as sheep. I say no life is dumb but I never said that they can't be smart in another way. Sheep are so smart...they group together to make it easier for a group of predators to kill them for food. They're super easy tame food. I respect life but a species who would follow the one in front of them even if they walk off a cliff is just shocking. Humans saying they're the "lamb" of god is just pathetic.

    Hi,

This may be slightly off topic, but it's related to the verse you quoted.
I noticed that you are using the term Quran incorrect here. A lot of people don't know the difference between the term Quran and mushaf.
They often confuse them and use them interchangeably. Which I noticed you did when quoting this verse. I thought I clarify the difference between the two terms, because incorrect understanding of the term can lead to misinterpretation of a verse.

The term Quran is derived from the same root of the Arabic word qara'a(read)
The term Quran is referring to the word of God. What is meant by that is that we believe that Allah spoke the words of the Quran, which Gabriel heard from Him, and brought down to the Prophet peace be upon him, and conveyed it to him.God has many attributes, His words are among these attributes, and that includes the Quran.

Mushaf is another Arabic term that is related to the Quran but is slightly different from it. This term is derived from the Arabic term sahifa. This word is not found in the Qur’an, but its plural suhuf, occurs about 8 times. In all of its 8 occurrences suhuf means written pages of something. For example in
verse: “The pages of Abraham and Moses” (87.19)
It's also used twice to refer to the Quran once in the expression “honored pages” (80.13) and another in “purified pages” (98.2).

So the literal meaning of mushaf is collection of pages. Its technical meaning is the compiled, written pages of the Quran. In other words the term quran refers to the specific revelation that was read to Prophet Muhammad while the term mushaf refers to the written form of that revelation.

So when we look at the verse you quoted we can see that God is referring to His words which also includes the Quran.

These are some verses from the Quran and sayings of the prophet muhammad. I'm not sure if it's what you were looking for.

"The most perfect believer in respect of faith is he who is best of them in manners.” [Abu Daawood

“This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” [Quran 5: 3]

For We had certainly sent unto them a Book based on knowledge, which We explained in detail -- a guide and a mercy to all who believe.” [Quran 7: 52]

Goodness and comfort are for him who worships his Rabb in a perfect manner and serves his master sincerely.” [Al-Bukhari]

"If a servant is honest and faithful to his master and worships his Lord in a perfect manner, he will get a double reward.” [Al-Bukhari]

"Among the believers who show most perfect faith are those who have the best disposition, and are kindest to their families.” [At-Tirmithi]

this one verse might convey the idea of a perfected religion for a certain people but it doesn't indicate it as a perfect religion for ALL.

anything that is placed between Allah and a person, like a book, a person, a religion is an abomination because Allahu Akabar.

idolatry is expressly forbidden in islam.

if muhammad stands between us and Allah, kill muhammad.
if islam stands between us and Allah, we should abandon it.
if the qu'ran separates us from Allah and our fellow beings, we should use it as fuel for our fires to garner warmth or as a means to wipe our butts.

better to realize Allah, than become lost to things of this temporal world.

if it isn't bringing us to Allahu Akabar, it's leading to evil.

    ALLAHU AKABAR!!!!
