For reasons unknown to me, recently when I go to Youtube, it brings up Avinu Malkeinu in Hebrew. One English texted version is sung by Barbra Streisand and is profoundly touching, Yallah !!!
My previous view of Jews is that they are decidedly introspective and serious, with the males mostly bearded with black clothing and not to be spoken to. Yet, I've felt drawn to all this, having stood at the Wailing Wall, and as much of the rest of Israel as one can see in a week.
Not being evangelical, it seems to me nearly impossible to get information and understanding of them...most seem to simply incorrectly assume my hostility. Perhaps you do when the world is often hostile to you?
