Let's not forget that the Israeli left (and arguably, also the non-Israeli Jewish left) have been pushing for this for ages now. I still fail to see why anyone would be offended by this.

So you're happy with election after election with no real result and a government basically paralyzed in many respects? Is that something that some rightists like?

Are they finally going to send Netanyahu to jail? The man's quest to keep himself in power to avoid finally going down for his condamnation for corruption has paralysed the entire country. His constant warmongering and land theft to keep his ultra conservative base mobilise has made Israel a bad actor in the region too. With a more sane and less self interested leader, Israel and the entire region could benefit from the wave of normalisation of diplomatic relation that has passed through the region.
