I'm not sure I agree (but no harm in believing it is). Usually parables have a different language to it like "It is like unto" or "Jesus said a parable".

Mostly because of "They that are dead shall rise first" - or coming from the dust.

It's fiction, the same as most New Testament teaching and prophecy passages.

So, yes it's a parable; and, no, it's not literal.

I think it could be either but either way the points in it stand
If a parable, a parable points to an even stronger reality.

The reason i think luke 16:19-31 is both literal and just a parable is because of matthew 13:24-29.And matthew 13:36-43.

How does this fit into daniel 12:2?[IMG]

I think you guys might not be reading every passage reference. So i posted them all again so you can read them back to back.

It is a parable, a metaphor.

Mostly about our rejection of God by persecution of God's Messengers and Prophets.
