Yes, insult. OK. Too bad. I wonder who made the pun?It might disagree with part of it, but it will be right in another. It is holy.
a tangent in language is when you keep changing the subject etc...without a clear end

The Bible says, "love is not provoked". I think that some publishers realizeOkay, now I am tired, and I still see nothing that is necessary to understand different. I leave you with a picture of me
Yes. When it was written it was right imho. I think it was changed. On purpose or by accident, I do not know. Does it matter?Ok, and you think that verse is wrong....?
If something is "not yet present", it could certainly still be an illusion. So, shouldn't we be skeptical of such things? Not yet present means it is. It is not an illusion. It is a prayer. Is a prayer not real?
where does it say that? The Bible says, "love is not provoked".
old testament says he loses his temperI think that some publishers realize
that indeed sometimes love IS provoked so they added the word "easily". Some
Bible read, "love is not easily provoked". That is definitely true. God does
not have angry tantrums. True.
see aboveBut I think the important thing is to have in mind what God's Word really says.
Isn't that important?
yes, peace is goodThe Buddhists practice tranquility and a person reading that love is not
provoked and wanting to be love will practice it like the Buddha. That is not a
bad thing. Tranquility is a good thing.
Are you saying that you are not provoked by love? I think that is wrong if that is what you mean.BUT if you read that love is not
provoked and practice it you might never realize that what God says is that love
does not provoke. To learn that love does not provoke is for the welfare of
others. Is it not?
how are they provoking them...the religious group that you have so much difficulty with it seemsLove is not easily provoked is for the welfare of the one learning
it. Not really much good for anyone else.
The JWs go door to door provoking many people every day. If God really says
that love does not provoke then by their doing that they prove they are not
love. Love is better than truth. Isn't it?
What insult, from who and to whom? What pun? That is a clear tangent in discussion. Shifting topic and being unclear.Yes, insult. OK. Too bad. I wonder who made the pun?
Skeptical is good I think. If something is "not yet present", it could certainly still be an illusion. So, shouldn't we be skeptical of such things?
1 Corinthians 13:5where does it say that?
Deuteronomy 32:21 1 Kings 14:22 1 Kings 16:13 Psalms 78:58 1 John 4:8 1 John 4:16old testament says he loses his temper
I am not saying that. Are you saying that you are not provoked by love?
Then it is good I do not mean it.I think that is wrong if that is what you mean.
Why not ask someone who gets woken up by them at 9:30 Saturday mornings?how are they provoking them...the religious group that you have so much difficulty with it seems
It seems? I have difficulty believing them but so do you. How can anyone believe them but go about their business feeling free when they say the Bible says that you must join them? Do you believe that you must become a lover of Jehovah the same way they love Jehovah? They love Jehovah by going door to door converting people to their way. Why are you not doing it? Are you having difficulty believing it?the religious group that you have so much difficulty with it seems
Honestly, I am willing to bet that Jesus did say something like "live like me". The early deciples/apostles seem to have done that, living in socialistic societies where property was shared by the community as a whole. But, that way of life does not support progress, so the early church probably shied away from it.Did Jesus command the going around to make disciples? Matthew 28:19
Or did Jesus command the being of a disciple in everything that you do so that people will know what a disciple is and choose it for themselves.....or not?
God didn't write the Bible. Human beings did.If the second one is true making the first one false then the Bible is lying but God tells the truth. I know for certain the Bible is being chosen over The Christ. The Jehovah's Witnesses do it in God's Name.
The report of Jesus Christ points to the fact that he went wherever God had him go. I do not believe God's son meant for his disciples to live together as the nations tend to do. Abraham is a good example of what it means to be a disciple. He went where God told him to go. I think that being a disciple means to obey The Holy Spirit. The command was made to Adam, "to fill the Earth and subdue it". That is what a disciple is to do also I think.Honestly, I am willing to bet that Jesus did say something like "live like me".
