I watched it, and though I agree with so much of what donald Trump does, I don't want to be dishonest about Joe Biden.

I honestly think it's going to be a close sell to convince people that Joe Biden is in the hands of the radical left, especially since Joe Biden is not radical left.

But Donald Trump missed 5 of my talking points that I said I wanted to make sure get known before the election, and so I feel compelled to list them here:

    2. The donkey relieves burden when riding on it; it may not be practical but everyone loves the donkey.
    3. Why can't we have a flexible constitution or judges that pass new laws? Isn't that just an ideology that the founders never said was required?
    4. Money is supposed to be an IOU from someone else so people pay each other back for the services they receive. Sometimes money becomes too abstract or criminal... it loses the point and people earn money without helping.
    5. Crowded/urban areas vote Democrat because they are more progressive (I researched it). That includes more government but not socialism. The reason I think is that relationships are strained. There're not as many close-knit relationships. The relationships are more stretched out. That requires trust and since it's hard to just trust more they have to have laws.

Urban areas are more crowded so that relationships are stretched farther apart so that there is less trust. Less trust means more progressive laws means more freedom means more anarchy. Did you ever notice that freedom and anarchy go hand in hand? Well they do.

That doesn't mean some Democrat leaders shouldn't have sent in the national guard... preserving life is more important than following constituents because it is a more basic thing.
    7. The right wing media loves to play the victim card where everyone is attacking Trump. People can listen to what they want and decide for themselves. The right wing uses a different strategy and attack Democrat ideas, but they are just as manipulative.

The Constitution was intentionally left open to a "living document" so new laws can be made. Such as the Emancipation Proclomation, the 19th and 21st amendments, and restricting presidential terms to two terms. Thomas Jefferson himself expressed the idea that each generation should rewrite the Constitution to address the issues important to their time and to avoid the living being governed by the dead (and here we are being governed by people who were all dead a couple hundred years ago, enforced by the "original intent" camp, who conveniently forget the original intent was not to have a static Constitution set in stone.
As for judges, their job is to interpret law, not create them, and make judgments on legal hearings based on the law. We have a legislative branch who is charged with heading making/striking laws.

Your constitution does not easily allow changes of any sort. even any form of reinterpretation is difficult as the supreme court sees its job as maintaining the constitution to mean wat various cases have been interpreted to say they mean. So with out further amendments. changes are un likely

New amendments are virtually impossible with the mathematics of the present two party system. The necessary majority would need the majority of both parties to agree. That is extremely unlikely.

The UK does not have a written constitution. so can be far more flexible. but it still often finds new laws to be unlawful when they are tried in the supreme court. As our courts are non political, some times reinterpretations and decisions are made that effectively change the "constitution"
in ways that bring it up to date.

The problem with the English language is sometimes words have two meanings.

That's to paint a better light on things. They create a new word with the same spelling that feels better.

I wouldn't want a country of this size and with this History to change its written constitution too readily, and I can see that the parliamentary system has its own issues, too. The MP's still get out of hand, skim off the top, etc.

At its beginning the Court struggled for legitimacy, so it took the route of predictable, stable, rule based, repeatable practice. The early supreme court could have been easily disregarded or defrocked if it had tried to compete with the legislature.

Do you deny that was a very tiny crowd compared to his norm?
Do you claim that was the same momentum he had four years ago?

I think you just gave TRUMP a back-handed compliment.

    We'll take it.

Give TRUMP four months and see what happens.

Trump and the National Guard will calm things down.

    In about an hour.

I asked you two questions, is what I did. This time four years ago I was screaming that Trump had a mountain of momentum behind him and he showed no signs or indications of slowing down and insisting people start taking him seriously because it wont be the sure bet for Hillary many thought it would be. But that rally the OK rally, that was a flopped up, bombed out crowd. Total bust compared to his normal drawing power.
Now, I'll ask again. Do you deny that was a small crowd for Trump? Do you claim the OK rally had the same momentum behind it that his campaign had four years ago?
The only real two questions, in my opinion, are has Trump really lost that much steam, or are his supporters taking covid more seriously than he is? That wasn't the crowd he normally draws, it wasn't indicative of a silent majority, for Trump that rally was a whole lot of nothing. A sea of empty seats is something he usually just does not have.
