Spam, wonderful spam (bloody vikings!)
I think mindful observation helps one to to realise that thoughts are just thoughts, and feelings are just feelings. They are transient, and they don't define you.

Thoughts seems like a sort of rambling internal commentary on experience, sometimes random and unreliable.
