How to dress for the Memorial?

Would it be okay if I were to wear black slacks to the Memorial if I decide to go as I really do not like dresses and haven't worn one since 1994.

I have in the past, and nothing was said about it, but still wonder if it is okay.

Hi Jensen, visitors can wear whatever they feel comfortable in. JW's have a dress code but it is not imposed on our visitors. To us the Memorial is a solemn occasion and what used to be called a person's "Sunday best" (meaning that only their best clothing would be worn to church on Sunday) would be considered appropriate....we believe it shows respect for God to do so. We would never tell visitors what to wear.
