How to do ekadashi vrat?

The absolute purest fast is without so much as water. But if you can't do that you must not eat grains or pulses of any kind from sunrise to sunrise. If you need to, you can have some fruit or dairy as a small meal or snack once or twice in the day. On Kamada Ekadashi puja is done for Sri Krishna. Break fast by consuming some grains after sunrise.
