Simple heuristic:

How frequently is the source updated?

If it is updated multiple times a day, it's not reliable. No need to waste more time on it.

When I referred to younger people, I was thinking of adolescents too young to have formed political biases, for example. I didn't make that clear.

Absolutely

Fair enough.
I would just mention, I was a primary school teacher.
Many kids have biases politically at very young ages, simply due to the influences of those closest to them.
