I was not discussing my beliefs but what I was saying. I was using Genesis as a historical source and you were assuming I was using Genesis as a religious source.

You need to talk to historians. It is not a historical source. It is a mistake to use it that way.
We know that scientifically it is wrong and we know that historically it is wrong.

Historians and archeologists use a Bible all the time when working in that area of the world as a reliable historical text.

Historians almost never use the Bible. It has far too many errors in it. For example you have surely studied the Bible. What famous biblical character has two different birth dates at least ten years apart?
