Hawaiian Sharks Legend

I remember seeing on VHS the Hawaiian legend of a man who went out to sea on a raft. Then a storm came. Then two sharks somehow towed his vessel near shore to where he could safely swim back to shore. Does anybody remember this?

Sadly I haven't heard that one either. Seems like a story that would get told though.
