I just saw Hardcore Henry and I loved it. The story and delivery were a breath of fresh air.
The whole thing is shot from a first person perspective and the main character can't talk, so doesn't have a single line except for a few hand gestures and a bit of writing on the wall in blood.
I thought that a very fast paced action movie shot in first person would be so shaky and weird that it would distract me from the story, but it had me engrossed quickly.
It's very gory, which I don't usually care for, but this is done well. Once in a while some very dark humour pops up and it actually makes you laugh.
I want to see more stuff like this.
