A good time for prayer and reflection before Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.

Hello Rival, may I thank you for putting this in the interfaith discussion. I like many am not a Christian but who in the west has not been touched by it and may wish to comment.
I am a lover of much Christian art, I hope you won't mind me offering one of my own favourites. It is the Crucifixion, but as it may have been seen by Jesus himself. Regardless of religious belief, I find it deeply moving.
The artist is James Tissot.

I've never seen this before. Thank you. Apparently it's one of 350 watercolors in his series The Life of Jesus Christ.
