God as a substitute father figure?

I have a much better relationship with God than I do my own actual father

I'd rather spend ten minutes stuck in an elevator in the company of God than I would with my father

Does this mean God is a substitute father figure for me?

Do you seek affection, estime and council toward God? Does he represent some form of authority in your eyes? If yes, then it would not be unreasonnable to say your deity serve a bit as a father figure in your life.

Much more so than I do from my actual father, yes

So he may very well be
