Hospitality is a practice of prophets of God. It is a form of politeness which develops love and bring people closer to the message of God.
The holy Prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the outstanding example for honouring the guests. He would personally take care of their resting area, food and other needs. He trained his companions in these virtues. They self sacrificed to provide for guests of God.
In order to revive faith and to bring man closer to God in this era, his ardent devotee , the Ahmadiyya refomer (on whom peace) followed his ways. He initiated annual gatherings alongwith public-kitchens to serve incomming guests. This has become international phenomenon, continued by his caliphs. Volunteers of all walks of life offer hospitality and courtesy through system which sometime make the visitors astonished.
U.K. will witness one such hosting of international gathering of worldwide ahmadiyya community starting 25 th July. Caliph has advised the volunteers to serve the guests of Allah with understanding that service means sacrifice and they must remember the feelings of a guest are tender. All that striving is to enhance peace and spirituality.
