I think you made a good point, here. Even if I understand that both were prone to disagreements.

It seems that most Russians knew Prigozhin was a dead man walking after confronting Putin a few months back. But no doubt the truth of what has happened will take some time to come out - if it ever does. Seems to me that Prigozhin might have had some material to blackmail Putin, otherwise he might not have lived this long.
