Respectfully you sound like your mind is made up.
It only seems that way to you cuz pro-violent-video-gamers
are arguing with me. I neither know nor care about the effects.
I favor the right to watch them, even if they cause mayhem.
The real question is just how much....zero?....measurable?
The science says no and has done so over and over again.
Surely you’re not against science are you?
Non-scientists are always yelling "Science!" at me.
And yet, their skepticism lobe is silenced by faith
that what's believed now cannot change. That is
un-scientific.
You guys seem peeved that I doubt you, & that I
won't leap to certainty along with you. I just don't
trust what I've yet seen in a field with room for change.

And don't call me Shirley.

I suppose it would depend on how one defines the parameters, right?
If you measure aggression responses responses, maybe you could find a correlation between that and consumed media. But on its own that doesn’t necessarily lead to broader conclusions on it being a casual factor. Necessarily

Science is always changing. Nothing is concrete, except for maybe scientific laws. Idk
But if the conclusions currently and have in the past point to something specific constantly, then why would I not go with that conclusion?
That conclusion can be changed in the future. Sure
But that’s true of conclusions reached about even Evolution specifics.
Like accepting that birds are related to a specific sub species of dinosaurs. That conclusion challenged conclusions made at that time. But when confronted with consistent evidence, slowly over time that conclusion became the accepted one. Can that change in the future? Maybe. But for now I’m happy to go with current scientific knowledge. If that changes in the future than I shall change alongside it

And don't call me Shirley.
What about Revolt?

Even those laws can change, eg, Newton's
were updated by general relativity.

There are things to call into question the standard
belief that violent games do not cause any increase
in aggression or violence by players, eg, military
using the games to train soldiers, other studies.

You'll believe as you do.
I'll continue to be skeptical.
What about Revolt?
Works for me.
