Does Star Trek Discovery attack Trump supporters?

Remain Klingon? I was impressed by the special effects.

It is about time we got a TV show about people doing ****** things in space!

Can we get a space sci fi TV show that does not alienate half of America?

Trump's message and the message of Star Trek in general are incongruent in the first place. I doubt there were any intentional attacks, but heavy praise to the writers of there were.

Nice special effects, but pretty much a humdrum story up to the very end. Orville is far better.

That's an interesting observation. It appears I did not miss much.

I did not watch it because if I disliked it it would have been time wasted. If I liked it I would have been grumpy because I won't pay $120/year for the show - if it's all that good, it will be either on DVD or another network eventually. Or if not, I don't care all that much.

Pretty much another encounter with Klingons and how best to get the upper hand. *Yawn*
