No, prior to faith in Jesus Christ, their disposition was unbelief regarding God's Word written, as is your disposition now.

you said
Our disposition must be changed in order to change the way we reason.

well how does one change the way they reason? you mean making uninformed decisions is now a virtue, because some guy said so?

That statement is biased.

because you don't like it?
just look at any history book at you will see when people believe god is on their side their biases are enhanced...do you deny that? really?

You've got the cart before the horse. . .they are on God's side.
so on 9/11, we were on god's side and the terrorists were on gods side too?

The disposition that is changed is their unbelief in the Word of God written, which is the disposition you have now.

sure, can you blame for rejecting bronze age ideology?

They're still sinners like everyone else. . .but they are repentant sinners.

repenting gives the believer the reenforcement of undue importance...
you know why, because they actually think god is concerned with the
faith of the believer...
when all along nature has proven itself to be indifferent.
