Does a perfect man need to repent?

Charity

Let's go racing boys !
While suffering Job posed many questions to God and expressed his wish that God would answer him. Finally God answered, but He did not answer Job's questions, Instead God made many questions to Job, none of which Job could answer.
When humbled by God's questions, Job admitted that he was spiritually ignorant. God had testified of Job by saying "there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and upright man. So why did Job who was a perfect and upright man have to repent? Job did not sin with his lips nor break any commandments, so why did he have to repent?.........

Original sin, obviously. It’s a legendary story about a non–Jew, anyway, incorporated into the canon because of its great fable–like qualities (‘wisdom literature’). Note how satan and god in this both allow Job to suffer due to a cosmic bet. When Job finally poses some searching questions about the nature of evil god can’t answer him! So god resorts to that hoary old chestnut: “You can’t create anything living, so who are YOU to talk?” End of discussion. Like a musician saying you can’t criticise their songs unless you can play music yourself.
