Documentary on Dalai Lama and Dorje Shugden

ratikala

Istha gosthi
dear practitioners ,

I am asking you all to simply question your attatchment to any veiw in this debate as it is only when we posess no veiw that we can begin to see clearly.

this whole debate brings tibetan buddhism into disrepute and will destroy that which we think we love .

is it not part of daily prayer to pray that all beings may experience Equanimity , free from hatred and attatchment ?

as practitioners it may seem natural to deffend the tradition that has blessed us with our practice , but when holding a veiw simply fuels the argument , then our minds become clouded , in this instance we are without clarity , we are without equaninity , and we are contributing to the erosion of equanimity within the tradition .

The Dalai Lama says that Dorje Shugden is an evil spirit. Why does the Dalai Lama not subdue him then? Isn't it easier to bind him or destroy him so that there will no longer be such danger to people? Is Dorje Shugden more powerful than all the high Lamas?

it is people that are their own worst enemies , the apperance of a bodhisattva is to guide us not to live our lives for us , it is us as practitioners that need to subdue our own minds .
