In my opinion, no, however one who does not respect the beliefs of others and is as rigid in his impugning of ANY spiritual belief as Dawkins *IS* a militant atheist.

I have no respect whatsoever for ideas.
Ideas should be attacked and criticised at every turn so that only those that stand up to critical scruteny survive.

And religions and beliefs are just that; ideas.
