Some brave souls have remade Daggerfall in the Unity engine and it is better and less buggy. Also, modable as hell. I played this game about 25 years ago and I can't believe how much I'm enjoying it right now.

You can get the original from Steam and the Unity version from github: Releases · Interkarma/daggerfall-unity

If you played the original and liked it I highly recommend Daggerfall Unity.

I was looking at that game just yesterday. I'll probably put it on my wishlist.
