Converts to Islam, what attracted you to it?

You're describing people who are looking for fellowship, and I'm sure that accounts for some new members, but I'm wondering what there is about Islam itself that would attract 'Western' converts.
If you exclude fellowship from Islam's attraction, then you seem to be intending something specific when you say Islam. What is that - theology, rituals, ... ?

Theology 100%. The Qur'an created and defined Islam. How could a civilized person read it think it's something they want to become a part of?
