Come Holy Spirit; flood our minds, our hearts, our souls and spirits

Come Holy Spirit; flood our minds, our hearts,
our souls and spirits

Before Pentecost, the Apostles were still fearful, even after seeing the risen Lord. They prayed together but as yet we're not proclaiming the reality of the Risen Lord.

The Spirit God knows all hearts and in receiving the Holy Spirit the human heart is deeply wounded by the experience of God’s reality, as well as the love is shown by the incarnation, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. It is no longer an intellectual proposition only but the experience of the presence of Christ in the soul.

Fire burns cleanses and transforms, as well as destroy. The soul must be purified in this Divine Fire, this Infinite Love, which causes all other loves no matter how strong and pure to dim. Though all true love comes from the Heart of God… for any love that is true, leads to the death of all that blocks the fruition of that love for others until only oneness remains, leading to a sense of peace and joy before unknown by the one filled with God’s Holy Fire.

Our gifts received are for the building up of the Body of Christ. Our weakness is the doorway wherein Christ can heal and lead us to understand the reality of God's freely given grace. The deeper our self-knowledge and trust, the more we put on the Mind of Christ Jesus.

Come Holy Spirit, flood our minds, our hearts, our souls and spirits and let us allow the fire of you love to do its work.--BrMD
