I don't really want to debate the fundamental differences between Christianity and Islam. To me, Jesus died for my sins and He was not a prophet.
I don't expect you to agree.

He is the Messiah.. And there is a chance of mass repentence by the Jews, I believe that.

No, The Americans should not give the land back to the Native Americans, That's kind of my point. No the Israelies should not give the land back to the Palestinians.

As a USA Citizen living in the middle of the country, I really shouldn't put my opinion in anything going on in the middle east. But I find this really odd.

    1. Gaza was given to Palestinians this past decade, right? So in fact they have land all be it very tiny. IF they wanted more why not ask their allies in the part of world to give them a bit of their land instead of trying to take away land from Israel which I realize is a moot point since they don't recognize the state of Israel anyways.

    2. You know it's hard to sympathies with an organization that spends a lot of money on rockets and tunnels instead of supplies that would benefit their people. It really a mind blowing concept that their wasting all their money on trying to destroy a country who could wipe them off the face the earth they wanted to, but won't because of the consequences of doing so would hurt them in the end.

    3. As a christian I value all human life and I find it upsetting that theres constant bloodshed, but I lack the power to do anything about it so I'm just stuck here hoping that things blow over soon.

The bloody wars being fought in The Middle East and elsewhere are, IMO, the products of religious and ethnic hatreds. True Christians look to God's heavenly kingdom to remove all human rulership and false religions. (Daniel 2:44) I believe God's Kingdom or government is the only solution to this world's evils. (Matthew 6:9,10)

Arafat, that rat *******, who won the Nobel Peace Prize, (Hahaha) received at least nine figures in U.S dollars to improve the Palestinian plight. He gave the money to Swiss bank accounts and kept it for himself, because he wanted the Palestinians to burn in hatred for the Jewish people.

Hamas, and the people who think like that, are evil. . . they have been brainwashing the Palestinians with the Quran for decades.

I shall respond to these from a Quaker perspective. Note I do not represent every single Quaker, and some Quakers may think differently to me:

    1. First of all, if any action that leads to death is to be taken as murder, then a whole lot of good-minded people are suddenly murderers. Secondly, there is no such thing as guilt by association. Britons committed genocides in their Empire, that doesn't mean modern Britons should be punished for the sins of their proverbial fathers.

    3. No, he was not. Before the Bar Kokhba revolt of 135 AD, the Jewish covenant was passed through the father, not the mother. Regardless of whether God or Joseph are regarded as his father (since the Jews would obviously regard Joseph, not God, as his father), most historians agree that the reason Joseph and Mary really went to Bethlehem is to escape the wrath at a non-Jew, Joseph, being betrothed to a Jewess, Mary. This is the reason for the two massive geneaologies of Joseph (in the gospels of Matthew and Luke) trying to prove he was descended from a well-known Jew (King David), and also the fact that they contradict each other.

Anyway, that isn't the point of this thread.

The Israeli government has created an apartheid state. Palestinians are treated as second-class citizens. I oppose all violence and any retaliation on the part of Palestine certainly isn't commendable, but it is understandable, and the State of Israel is who is in the wrong.

What is this? I've never heard of that before. Maybe you could start a thread on it?

Yes, I agree. I do think that oppressed and occupied people have the moral right to fight against their oppressors, but I certainly respect your stance. The Israelis must cease their oppression of the Palestinian people and afford them full human rights, including the right to return to their homeland and not have their land taken from them and given to foreign settlers.

It's not that clear-cut. . . Let the Palestinian leaders stop being tin pot dictators/mass Jihadist murderers, so their people can be trusted and not thought of, partially rightly by their Israelie neighbors, that they are brainwashed, suicide killing, grave dancing death cultists.
Stop propagandizing to their people that the Jews are descended from apes and pigs (Not in an Evolutionary way), and stop treating Nakhba day as if it's a Muslim only thing.

I shall do that once I am able to post links – I'd probably be a bit hopeless at explaining it myself, it's something I only recently read up on.

Well as you stated, nowadays your mother has to be a Jew for you to be considered Jewish so this is why people say he was a Jew.

In Islam they say Jesus was a Muslim

Yes, but at the time, he wasn't a Jew. The idea of Jewish lineage going through the mother is not applied retroactively. That would be ridiculous, because then King David wouldn't be a Jew.

What about him being a Muslim? I hear in Levant Arabia Christians and Muslims get along quite well for this reason

And couldn't one just say that Jew could be a Jew if either one of the parents is a Jew?

Christians should be peacemakers not war-mongers. We are supposed to take the side of peace and justice not the side of an illegitimate European colonial power. Christians are supposed to set the oppressed free not help oppressed them even more.

By not allowing Israel to exist as a nation we're oppressing the Jewish people. Let's not oppress either side.

Israel has no right to exist whatsoever any more than British India had a right to exist. Israel is a European colonial power and there are no if's, and's or but's about that. They fact are Israel is a European Colonial Military Power. And it is an injustice.

If you support Israel you are supporting colonialism. Jewish people live in peace and freedom in many nation throughout the world and they are hardly oppressed, what the West is doing is letting a Zionist warmongers get away with murder. The elephant in the room is the truth...we would have peace in the Mideast if there was no Israel.

If I must be boxed in and labeled for supporting God's people the right to do what God wants to do, whether they are doing it knowingly or unknowingly, so be it. We would have peace in the Middle East if there were no Muslims, I'm not advocating banning Islam or taking over the Islamic countries.

I'm a Zionist but calling me a warmonger is stupid if you know me. I"m not calling you stupid but you definitely don't talk like someone who knows much about the scriptures of the Bible. Isaiah 66 is only one of many verses of the Bible that disproves this anti-Jewish notion that the Jews have no right to possess their own country.

Oh, and if you want to talk about murder, people are being cannibalized, mutilated and other wise slaughtered in the Middle East, for being either Christian or Jewish, or some kind of apostate Muslim. Why don't you talk about how Israel is the only Western style nation in the Middle East? Is it because you think they were established by British colonialism? You know what? How about we at least wait until the Muslim world starts to act like they can even have some of the genuine moral values that the Colonial powers had, even if Colonialism it'self is wrong. (Yes, it is wrong, but I'm not finished with my point).

Ma'am, consider for a moment that if the Islamic people would at least rise to a level of compassion high enough to start doing good for their neighbors, and each other's denominations within Islam, stop killing people that don't want to be Muslim anymore, and generally practice much more Humane and benevolent things than their disgusting Shariah "Law", which calls for the chopping off of hands for things like shop lifting, murdering homosexuals, whipping people, including women for being raped, and treating women like they were brain dead monsters who far out number men as people who go to Hell. Islam wants Israel dead because it's Jewish, then they'll call it Palestine, or whatever they want to call it.

Why not talk about how their leaders are using the Palestinians as hostages and Human shields, and how the Media is playing the dumbest "gotch'ya" game of scape goating against Israel than has ever been played in the history of media. You want to talk about Apartheid? Everyone wants Israel dead? I say keep your Iron Dome Israel, keep fighting and stay strong. If Israel is actually wiped out, they will either be the last bastion of peace, snuffed out by the darkness of ignorance imposed on now enslaved minds, or it will be the modern day equilavent of "300" when people must fight against the hordes of East once again for their freedom and sacred honor.

We need t get rid of this fool notion that Israel is some cackling, child murdering cabal of "evil jewzzz" that poison the village well and use the blood of their young victims for Passover meals. If Israel dies, then every Jewish people in the entire world had better hope they can find decent people of good conscience and honor to shelter them from the incoming storm. People who are against Israel are with the Devil and against God. There is no way around it.

Even if some clever wording, malevolent person with an evil spirit can take away the knowledge and faith from those who love Israel, God is still against those who hate Israel and the Jewish people and will always be. Leave them alone, Israel haters. They are here to stay, and if one day soon, and it probably be soon, there will be a push to shove the Jews from their home land, God will push back, and when God fights he wins.

"We would have peace in the Mideast if there was no Israel" and if the US, UK, NATO, etc. would stay the hell out with their covert ops, meddling, manipulation, empire building, financial rape, etc.

    God bless and aid Palestine!

No. I say no. They are not God's people. The whole idea of a single race of people being God's people is nothing more than racism and blasphemy. It's goes against the very tenets of the Christian faith.

They are in no way God's people. Would God's people continually wage war? Would God's people steal what doesn't belong to them? Would God's people kill innocent women and children? Would God's people lie and deceive to order to be keep from justice? No. But Israel does all these things, they are not God's people. You believe they are God's people because you have been deceived my false prophets like Hal Lindsey and others like him, you have turn your back on your fellow Christians in Palestine. It's you who is condoning evil, it's you who is condoning theft and murder and war instead of peace and justice.

Well how do you explain how Israel keeps expanding into Palestinian settlements? How do you explain the current Gaza bombardments?

Most importantly, Ben Gurion and Begin were responsible for the British-Zionist conflict where 996 British soldiers were killed. They exceeded the White Paper Quotas
