I wanted to start this thread as I'd quite like to showcase some of my work. I love poetry, and like to take some time once in a while to write it.

So, I'm going to be posting any poems that I write, and await with baited breath your comments on them.

Hey guys, here's my first draft of a poem.

The Feast

A Dragon is a solitary beast,
But once a year will join the feast,
Remembering the Golden Days,
When they ruled the skies and surfed the waves.

A roar is heard hailing from the East,
It's calling all Dragons to join the feast,
Remebering the Golden Days,
When they ruled the skies and surfed the waves.

The Dragons dwindle one by one,
As the stars appear with the setting sun,
But heed this warning plain and clear,
Wherever there's death a Dragons near.

One day in the future,
The horns will sound,
Calling the men to the battleground,
Fighting the Dragons with Lance and Spear,
Protecting the land from the death thats near.
