Will not be the only thing needed to address climate change.

"Developments around the globe already suggest that climate change is getting out of hand, with Antarctica seeing an unprecedented low sea ice extent during its peak winter period this year, extreme heat waves plaguing parts of Europe and North America and unusually high temperatures in the Atlantic Ocean.

Kim, however, cautions that the modeling results show that, while carbon removal might reduce temperatures, environmental changes caused by the warming may continue to affect millions of people in vulnerable regions even centuries later. "

The earth has done the same things over the past billion years. Man may have added extra variables to the blend, but we still have all the original natural variables, some of which are not obvious. I am concerned that too many are willing to put only manmade eggs in the basket, and they will not be prepared when some of the natural variables show their face. Some of what is happening is not predicted by manmade variables, alone.

You can mitigate heat waves with air conditioning. This is how Florida is able to support its population, being hot and steamy every long summer. That is a fixed natural variable. By losing affordable fossil fuels to generate electricity, without an alternative in place, caused by narrow thinking, we create a new problem, that already had a solution. People die fi you cannot afford to stay cool.

An interesting observation is there a now a huge hole in the ozone layer above Antartica that has gotten even larger than Antartica. The Link below is from the NASA website.

It was not too long ago that an ozone hole happened and it was blamed on manmade ozone holes; chloro and fluorocarbons like freon. There is now little in the way of freon type products on the market, so maybe the pinheads in science and government did not really know how the ozone layer and holes work. They should have anticipated this if they really knew the science better than political science.

Maybe what was called a manmade affect, back then, was also partially natural, but mistaken for manmade since that premise made people money and power, ridding the world of safer nonflammable solvents. Ozone should have been easier than global climate to understand, but the pin heads pushed bad science through.

Casino science may build confidence and consensus, but it may not be reliable since it is more of a black box guess, and less about sound reasoning with all the variables; natural and manmade, conscious.

The inner earth generates the earth's magnetic field. What happens when particles from the sun add energy to the earth magnetic field? The magnetic field helps to handle these high energy particles, so they do not bring their energy to the surface. Does the core feel this extra energy, via the magnetic field, and how does it dissipate the energy?

According to all predictions made by those you call pinheads, the ozone hole will continue to grow (albeit at slower rates) over the next two decades before starting to reverse. I posted on this before

"CFCs are undoubtedly main ozone-depleting gases, but cosmic rays play a major triggering role in causing both polar and tropical ozone holes," said Lu in an email.
