That's been my experience with the mainstream media and science for a long while anyway.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone on the news crow about a "new" discovery, and it was something I'd read about in Science Journals two years ago. And it seems to always take two years, on average. Very strange.

So maybe they just figured it out, because '05 would be about right....
