Calvinism and Reformed DIR

Not sure where else to ask this, but why is there a Calvinist DIR and a Reformed DIR?
Are not Calvinism and Reformed synonymous?
I don't think either one is a distinct denomination, but both are a catch-all term for a variety of denominations.

So can someone correct my misunderstanding or explain the thinking at RF that created two (identical?) DIRs?
