Orias

Left Hand Path
Hey there, I decided to write a few stanzas about bloody sacrifice. Amon Amarth set the mood of course :D

These short poems also tell a tale too great for a straight on vocabulary. Mostly, they entail all of what I believe (consider double meanings), besides literal sacrifice of course...(or maybe not HEHE!)

I

A crimson river
Pours over stone plains and valleys
Where an ageless light
Purges the husk to a boil

Walls painted with their life's
A frozen breath entombs their spirits
Their essence will be used
To dampen the strings of Life

II

A shadow flickered
Where the sundries my artwork
Only the whimper of a stone
And the wheeze of unsettled dust led me to her

Behind a boulder she drew
Her heavy breath weaving riddles
Her eyes crossed mine
While searching for answers

III

Drip Drip
The steam of blood
Spoils the secrets of an ancient knowledge
That flows through their veins

Sacrifice
An answer has been revealed
That rises from the curses on our backs
They will become us

As we consume their boiling breath

III (Part 2)

I awoke
To the tune of crawling sand
And the murmur
Of a forewarning breeze

The entrance to my domain
Is frozen by the clutch of a sanguinary light
Where spires of mist
Cast thirsty shadows

__
IV

A skull sits on my throne
His cheek in place of mine

It houses a wisdom
Beyond existence

What seeks
Finds nothing

For the Universe feeds those...
That feed it...
