Arabic and the Qur'an: What you might not know

croak

Trickster
Did you know aside from the words being in Arabic, they are recited in a special way? It sounds almost like singing, but it isn't. Some words are read in a certain way, some phrases are repeated, etc. So, people who heard the Prophet (saas) reciting it didn't just hear someone simply speaking. He (saas) recited it in a way that they had never heard. It's quite a miracle in itself. So, when disbelievers are challenged to produce even one ayah, imagine how they would have to also make sound just as beautiful as all the other ayat. A tremendous task, I daresay. And an impossible one.
