AO (Adults Only)

When are the video game companies going to issue Adult Only games? Now I understand that we have graphic violent games like Grand Theft Auto IV and the Resident Evil series and that is fine but I am talking about a game that encompasses all of factors of an NC-17 or Rated X movie.

I would love to see a Square/Enix AO RPG or a Sony action/adventure AO title based on an adult anime series.

And I don’t want no rock/paper/scissors downloadable hentai sex simulator, I want a hardcore, graphic violent, mature themed, inappropriate language gaming experience.

I’m an adult, I have money to spend on video games, where is my adult only video gaming experience?

I was mainly referring to the three platforms (PS3, X-Box 360 or PC (I wouldn't really expect the Wii to participate). I was thinking of being able to purchase these video games at any video game store (complete with a complementing proof of age request). If someone does know of any games that I am referring to that are already available for the PC, I would be willing to consider any title recommendations. The freer the better.

It's not that they're not making them, it's that stores won't carry them. Since all the big stores have specifically stated that they won't carry AO games there's little incentive to make them cause they won't sell that well. There are a number of import games that are AO though if I remember what my browsing the wiki told me.

I used to play those PC Larry games (before Al Lowe killed off the character) and I ventured into the PS2 Magna Cum Laude version (even though it was Leisure Suit Larry’s nephew).

There's apparently some AO MMORPGs out there. Not where you actually have a purpose outside of hooking up. That's the only goal: hooking up, lol. I don't remember what it's called though. And I doubt I'd be able to link it without violating some rules here, haha.

Not going to happen. Neither the VG industry nor retailers would touch "AO" with a ten foot pole. Adult games do exist, but through outlets (internet and adult stores) where they don't have to go through the ratings board.

You wouldn't believe some of the groups I've griefed on Second Life. Then again, the only real reasons I've seen for that game is to either dress up as animals and do dirty things, or to mess with people who do. I choose the latter, because I'm not a sicko.

Personally I think they just cannot sell enough AO games to make very good ones.
Personally I would spend money to see loads of blood and murder, but I would not spend money on some pixels banging eachother.

Maybe it becomes more interresting once the graphics become more lifelike.
