Just how much so is astounding. I was sitting here, listening to the speeches and realizing that the U.S. really hasn't had much of any true positivity aimed at uniting people coming from our highest leadership for 4 whole years.

I have to wonder if that played some part in seeing extreme opinions take root and grow out of control. Something like, if you're hearing the "other side" being positive and dealing out sentiments of unity, it kind of becomes harder to oppose them in full. When you aren't hearing that, you can pick on whatever you want - whether real or even imaginary.

Case in point. Have you read Biden's plan for dealing with the pandemic yet?

There should not be such a contrast. That was my point. We should not have gone so dark in the first place that today is so bright.
Yes, I know that was your point. ;):)

And after I responded I thought to add that such a contrast will hopefully never be see again because we are entering a new era in history, thus things will never return to the way they were before.

I tend to never look back, only forward. The Trump era is over, so I think we need to put it behind us.
