A new kind of political party

How about a political party dedicated to the preservation and advancement of humanity? What if a political party like this existed?

Party platform:

-A united humanity is a strong humanity

-Promote the advancement of science

-A well funded effective space program

-Racism and tribalism is stupid! Eliminate it!

I would suggest a Centre-left socialist party if you can find one. They are getting harder to find because neo-liberalism just swallows up much of the centre-left these days but they are out there.

A Party can easily just be another form of a few thinking they are better than the rest and then only becomes self-entrenchment of their own power which becomes just another class whose objective is to "eliminate" others who do not serve and feed this new class like good peasants or be "eliminated" for being unworthy.

As soon as the word "eliminate" is used, doesn't matter the supposed "lofty goal" such as "eliminate racism", that is the opposite of create such as create understanding, or "foster", the eliminate becomes nothing but a power grab and a killing frenzy and always becomes nothing but accumulation and centralization and ever more enmassing of such power to "eliminate" because it is soon realized that "elimination" is beyond their control without absolute tyranny, then the next thing you know the "lofty goal" starts becoming paranoia that "they are everywhere" and thereby threaten their power, it might start with "eliminate racism" and next become "eliminate parents", then "eliminate private schools", then "eliminate Hindus", then "purge and eliminate fellow Party members who are lazy and not eliminating others fast enough and probably work for the racist illuminati".

All resources go into eliminating, a frenzy. Eliminating poverty is not creating opportunity or fostering education. ELIMINATION is an ISIS mindset.

As soon aa I hear some "party" say eliminate, I want to keep them away from my family and children and hope they never find enough zealots to control anyone because they are dangerous enough to think they can eliminate anything. It is like saying "... eliminate ignorance" - so who are you? You are not teaching intelligence, you are running around eliminating what you think are targets of ignorance, but you yourself are most likely ignorant of who is the target - because you are weak and blind and ignorant - and in your blindness you just start flaying out in thin air and "eliminating demons".

It think a political party would struggle on that basis just because of the inevitable nationalism implicit in politics of government. I think the various Green parties are closest to the kind of concept you're talking about and they do commonly struggle to get mainstream support because of this.

I'd suggest charitable and social organisations are more suited to these wider aims than political parties. A lot of international charities do have this kind of motive (though they generally specialise to some extent just for practical reasons) and it's theoretically the idea behind a number of religions too.

The first strikes me as being more platitudinous than informative.
The second is worthy of support.
The third is likewise worthy of support depending on funding.
The fourth is worrisome propaganda. How do you propose to eliminate the tribalism of the tribe?

There is nothing in the above that guards against the tyranny of the majority. If anything, the platform promotes it.

I like your poster Red... I collect posters, poltical and rock and religious.

One of my favorite books RE, right at the time it was published, of mine - in addition to The Ramayana and Freedom at Midnight - was The Gulag Archipelago (Russian: Архипелаг ГУЛАГ, Arkhipelag GULAG) by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn in 1973. Two years later came Freedom at Midnight (1975) by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre (one of the greatest of all time). I have first editions of both. They were my Xmas presents. I was 17 and 19 years old. The Gulag was source for a paper I wrote for school.

About that time I stood up to testify for a Cuban who escaped communism, he became one of the greatest Hindus of a long time coming and many think he is an Indian because he speaks 6 languages. It is my secret. He is Cuban actually, and I helped get him citizenship.

Once when I was in Calcutta, not sure what year, 1980s, I was in a little room with the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) god knows why, but I ended up in there with a friend. Now India, there are God Pictures printed on cheap paper like posters, sometimes Bollywood stars, and such, for sale all over the place.

Hanging on the wall, in addition to Karl Marx, I swear to God, there on the same mill of paper was about an 8.5 x 11 in the same gauche colors of the Gods a poster of Hillary Clinton her head slightly cocked looking to her own right, potrait chest up with a solid off baize background. No smile really, just looking with a barely noticeable smile. Commard Clinton. STG.

you're family must definitely be as weird as mine. politics is a non-stop topic of discussion. if it hadn't been for them I might even have been normal.
