Welcome to the Interview Place, Danisty, and thank you for agreeing to be part of our series of Daring Member Interivews!

Welcome Viewers! Today we have with us Danisty of the Deep South. In the first segment of our two part interview, we will be daing Danisty to reveal her very soul to us by thoroughly probing to find out her favorite mints. On with the questions then!

Danisty, what brought you to RF? Where did you hear of the Forum?

Please describe the latest work of art you've created.

What do you think of Mexico's program that allows artists to pay taxes by selling their works to the government? Should the rest of the world be doing it too?

How do you cope with the summer heat and humidity of Georgia?

What's the most amazing thing you've seen in the last 30 days or so?

If you were an unicorn, would you want your virgins to give you carrots or sugar cubes?

Do you see yourself as a compassionate person?

What do you think of the new Eros Room?

Generally speaking, which nation produces the coolest helicopters?

Would you describe your new retro forum and what gave you the idea for it?

What, if anything, should the United States and Great Britian do about their corporations shipping jobs overseas?

What's you favorite number between one an twenty, and why is it your favorite?

Please describe the most important person named Linda in your life and how she is or was important to you.

Is it genuinely tacky to discuss neurobiology at garage sales?

How many different colors of bath towels do you own?

Who is your favorite movie star and which kind of faucet would your favorite movie star be if s/he was a faucet?

Without ranking them in any particular order, please name four of your top six favorite RFers and tell us why each is a favorite?

In your view, do the political parties in the United States givet the voters enough real choices to pick from?

Well thank you for having me! A daring interview, eh? Am I that scary...lol.

Welcome Viewers! Today we have with us Danisty of the Deep South. In the first segment of our two part interview, we will be daing Danisty to reveal her very soul to us by thoroughly probing to find out her favorite mints. On with the questions then!
Oh, I very much like mints!

Danisty, what brought you to RF? Where did you hear of the Forum?
Zephyr....no really. I never see him here, but he's the reason. He mentioned this forum on LivingWithStyle.com and I figured I may as well check it out. Initially, I wondered if I could insert myself into a religious community and actually make a difference as to what people thought about Luciferians. I've had some success and some failure. Mostly though, I just got addicted...lol.

Please describe the latest work of art you've created.
I really hate that I haven't picked up and drawn anything in awhile. The most recent thing I actually did was a tattoo! I used to be a tattoo artist (I guess that would make sense, wouldn't it?). It's a skeletal hand reaching up and grabbing a guy's calf. It was challenging because I had to make it match another piece he had on his back. I had to match up the shading style and everything. Here's a pic:

What do you think of Mexico's program that allows artists to pay taxes by selling their works to the government? Should the rest of the world be doing it too?
As an accountant who hates my job, I say we abolish taxes once and for all! I say down with the Infernal Revenue Service! Otherwise, though, it's certainly an interesting idea, especially considering that artists don't make any money...but wait, that should mean they don't have to pay any taxes! See, there's no way around this...

How do you cope with the summer heat and humidity of Georgia?
Not very well...lol. Believe it or not though, I grew without any air conditioning. I grew up in a historic house (built in 1892) that wasn't as well insulated as modern houses. Essentially, my parents argued that getting AC basically meant we'd be cooling the entire yard. Luckily though, those old houses have cross-ventilation, so we'd open up the windows and breeze would blow right through.

What's the most amazing thing you've seen in the last 30 days or so?
My hubby learned to parallell park!

If you were an unicorn, would you want your virgins to give you carrots or sugar cubes?
Definitely sugar cubes...unless I could persuade them to give me carrot cake.

Do you see yourself as a compassionate person?
Yes, actually I do. In fact, I remember when I was in elementary school, I wished on a birthday cake that I would have friends with problems so I could help them. Ever since then, all of my friends have been headcases. And I do very much enjoy helping them. Perhaps I'm not compassionate by other people's standards, but I feel like I actually give a lot.

What do you think of the new Eros Room?
I love it...but you probably already knew that...lol. In all seriousness, it's become one of my favorite places to actually talk about sex. I like the fact that I know everyone there is mature and I like being part of a community with standards.

Generally speaking, which nation produces the coolest helicopters?
Hmmm...I'm going to have to go with USSR on this one and I blame Metal Gear Solid.

Would you describe your new retro forum and what gave you the idea for it?
A free plug? How can I turn it down? My new retro forum is www.mymetallunchbox.com and we discuss anything you loved in your childhood. Yes, that means you. If your childhood was in the 60s, we'd love to talk about it. If your childhood was in the 90s, we'd love to talk about that too...movies, music, tv, games, toys, fashion. No matter how bad it was, it was all good! I was sitting around with my friends one day talking about how people are willing to pay and arm and leg to get their childhood back. So many people are snatching up old toys from ebay and a lot of cartoons like G.I. Joe and Transformers are becoming popular again. That's basically where the idea sprang from.

What, if anything, should the United States and Great Britian do about their corporations shipping jobs overseas?
Frankly, I think they should stop! Capitalism is becoming the new Communism, I think. I thought the idea was that you got rewarded for hard work. Apparently, what really happens is you work and work and work (and that's if you can find a job!) and big corporations make all the money.

What's you favorite number between one an twenty, and why is it your favorite?
In all honesty, my favorite number is really 13. After 3 years of taking a test each grading-period to get into a special program at school for advanced students, I finally passed on Friday the 13th. Thirteen has been a good number for me since (and that was back in elementary school). My anniversary is on the 13th too (of January).

Please describe the most important person named Linda in your life and how she is or was important to you.
Ya know, I've never met a woman named Linda that I've actually liked. The mother of my best friend from 8th grade was named Linda and she was a drunk and she was a very jealous woman. She got angry with me once (and I still don't know why...) and called the ATF (Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms) on my family even though she knew we didn't have anything illegal just because she wanted it on my father's permanent record that someone came and investigated us! She was probably the most influential Linda of my life because we had to stop being friends after that.

Is it genuinely tacky to discuss neurobiology at garage sales?
Probably, but that's never stopped me before.

How many different colors of bath towels do you own?
Lol...it was two up until a couple of weeks ago when I accidentally bleached half of them. Who knew that if you bleached green it would turn orange???

Who is your favorite movie star and which kind of faucet would your favorite movie star be if s/he was a faucet?
Movies? Nearly everything I watch is animated! My favorite voice actor is Crispin Freeman. According to my research, my favorite type of faucet is a "ball-type faucet." Those are the kind used in kitchen sinks that only have one handle. I would say though that Crispin Freeman is so cool, that he's one of those kitchen faucets that's got a spray nozzle attached to it!

Without ranking them in any particular order, please name four of your top six favorite RFers and tell us why each is a favorite?
Beckysoup because she's so sweet, Circle One because she's wild, MidnightBlue because he expresses what I want to say, but in better words, and (surprise!) Victor because he is relentless.

In your view, do the political parties in the United States givet the voters enough real choices to pick from?
Absolutely not. Well, let me get more specific. We have choices, but none of them are good. When it really comes down to it, you have to pick Democrat or Republican because nobody else is going to make it into office anyway. I don't do that, but you can't imagine how many people do?!

When was the last time you voted in a national, state, or local election?
Uh...when was the last Presidential election? It seems like it was forever ago. Anyway, that's the last time I voted. I'll be voting again soon though for state elections and it looks like all the candidates suck again...*sigh*

What kind of spicy foods do you enjoy?
I love spicy food! Cajun, Mexican, Chinese, Thai...pretty much any of it.

How far do you live from a convenience store you have not robbed yet?
Hmmm...I think there's a 76 about 20 miles away. What kind of question is this???

Is it painful to you that you have not personally discovered any new planets?
I've learned to cope. Honestly, I wanted to be off this rock already and exploring new places. Maybe I'm too much of a sci-fi fan.

What do you think of astrology?
Just like anything else, I guess. Some people are good at it and some people aren't and of course there are people out there that just want your money. I've never really gotten into it much. I like tarot though!

Is it possible to have too much plaid in your wardrobe?
Plaid is classic and it will never completely go out of style! I like paisley too.
Bad in Plaid lyrics

Are there many Luciferians in your neck of the woods?
No. I met one online once that was a Modern Luciferian living in Savannah, but we never really talked or anything. I think he was just a college student and he's probably moved by now. I know a Luciferian in Hephzibah, but that's a little ways away. Most of the Luciferians I know are either west of Texas or in Canada. I know at least one in the UK too.

Do you think RF should have a dress code, and if so, should it include obligatory coffee stains?
That would go really nice with the plaid, I think.

What are the three most common misconceptions about Luciferians that you encounter?
  • The biggest misconception is that I think of Lucifer in the same way Christians do. If I thought of Lucifer as an evil guy, why would I want to be Luciferian??? My Lucifer isn't in other people's box. If there is any hope for people to understand where I'm coming from, they're going to have to think outside their boxes. (Lucifer is not very fond of boxes at all...the angel, I mean. My cat loves boxes.)
  • There is a big misconception about worship. For many people, worship entails submission (and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not my thing) to a higher power. I recognize Lucifer as being more powerful than myself, but I do not submit to him. That would not be a desirable action for either of us. I look up to Lucifer, I admire him, I strive to be more like him. He doesn't have any control over me. This is not some kind of pact.
  • A lot of people get confused by LHP religions in general and attribute what they know of one religion to another. I'm not a Satanist and I'm not an atheist. I wish people would spend more time listening and asking questions. Overall though...I have to say that the folks here at RF are pretty good about that!
Would a reasoning chipmunk think we were gods?
You know that depends on if the chipmunk is an atheist or not.

Do you have any pets, and if so what kind and what are their names?
I have a collie named Valkyrie. She's about 5 years old now. I have a mutt I rescued from a drainpipe last summer...he's mostly yellow lab and his name is Ziggy. I have a black cat named Lucifer and she was born on Halloween. I also have a husband and a roommate...do they count?

Do you sing?
Yes, but I rarely do it well. I can sing along with Concrete Blonde pretty well and there is one song off of the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack that I can sing along with and it actually songs pretty good (Flying Teapots, for those who may be familiar with the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack).

Do you enjoy flying kites, and if so what kind of kites do you fly?
Ya know, I haven't gone flying kites since I was about 10 years old. Dad and I used to do this all the time. I think, out of all the kites I had as a kid, my favorite one was the Batman kite.

How often do you find yourself watching infocomercials?
I like to work on crocheting and cross-stitching in my living room and often find that I have forgotten to change the channel when they come on.

Do you have an sculptures in your house, and if so could you describe them for us?
I have a couple of really neat Greek-looking vases. I also have a small green geisha statue in my living room. I have some "sculptures" in my bedroom too, but I'm pretty sure we shouldn't talk about that here.

When did you first begin compulsively stacking loose potato chips before eating them?
Well, I have always been compulsive about food. I don't know if you know this, but I can't let salad touch anything else I'm eating. I have to have it in a separate bowl. The potato chip thing just lost all it's appeal when I found Pringles though. There's just no challenge in that...

Who is the most perverse person you know of and what do they typically do that makes them so perverse?
I'm going to have to admit that I may be the most perverse person I know and not many that I've heard of are more perverse than I am (unless you just mean sicko...I'm not a sicko or anything). There isn't much about sexuality that I don't enjoy. I read yaoi manga (and sometimes even shotacon!:cover: I promise it's not illegal...they're just drawings!) I enjoy all kinds of porn and I'm very adventurous when it comes to trying new things. I'm honestly not sure how much I can say here...

If you were on the Nobel Prize Committee, who would you give next years Peace Prize to?
Hideo Kojima! He makes video games and video games are bringing the world together. He's most well-known for his Metal Gear Solid games that are so American, I wonder if he's just faking that whole Japanese thing.

Thank you for interviewing with us, Danisty! It's been a pleasure!
It's been very thought-provoking, indeed.

Folks, you can ask Danisty any follow up questions you want in the thread that accompanies this one, which is located in the interview discussion forum.
Please ask me questions, guys! I love to answer questions! :cloud9:
