3 poems for thought

Cerrax

That One Guy
These a few I've made. The third one I feel has a special meaning about religion if you think about it in the right context. Here goes:
---------------------------------------
"Shadows of Chess and Time"

I am a shadow among lights
Dark but happy
Shy but eager

I may let you fall
But I will always catch you
The bottom rung is always the sturdiest

I don't want to know the future
Its a mystery to keep us guessing
Guessing about who we are
Where we'll go
What we'll see
And what we'll know

Speculation is grander than truth
Fantasy more spectacular than reality
And yet reality is what inspires
What pushes
What makes us who we are

Shadows hide behind figures
And I will hide no more
I shall not fear the light
It is my opponent
And I am learning chess very quickly
Move my bishop forward
And lose to a pawn
But we'll see who gets checkmate

I will lose
Nothing
But my flaws
And a game of chess
Fortunately its only a game

Reality awaits
Does my practice serve me well?
We'll see

-----------------------------------------------------------
"Fulfilled"

Fulfilled
And received
Open arms are closed
Around me

Doors are open
And shut quickly
Can we reach them in time?

Of course
We just have to believe
We can do anything
We have done anything

Loved
Escaped
Fought
Worked
Cried
Laughed
Loved
Sat
Walked
Played
Worked
Loved

Kissed

Fulfilled
And waiting
For tomorrow
And the horrors
That we will
Conquer
Together

"The Wrong Puzzle"

Pieces
Of another's puzzle
Put it together
Like you want to

Who needs a box?
The box has an answer
Yes
But is it right?
No

There are no right answers
But strangely
There are many
Wrong ones

Are you wrong?
Yes
Are you going the wrong way?
Yes
Are you the wrong person for
The wrong job
At the
Wrong time?

Yes
Are you right?

Yes
