I've thought about that, but I do believe that we're much better off united...if we can actually pull it off.

I don't know. I think culture here is more diverse than many want to acknowledge. I think that is the root of many of our problems...
The only disadvantage I can see from splitting would be less military strength, but I think we have more than we need as it is.
