Parents should wisely educate their children about morals, especially the teen agers ones. Things should be explained to them. Father should not ignore their roles especially.
Once Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) told his son [Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) -- when he was young] that Allah has made different animals for different purpose, some are beautiful to look at, some have beautiful voice, others are for eating. It is possible an animal eats harmful insects, inspite it is Halal but eating it would not be beneficial.
Animals and birds which are beneficial in other ways may not remain wholesome in spite of being halal, because their greater advantage lies elsewhere.

Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) was against harmful innovationas in faith.
He allowed his photograph taken only for the recognition of his truth by the seekers at other place. But when someone printed his photo on a post card for selling, he strictly disallowed it. It stands today too.

Modern inventions can be used in positive way for Faith matters. For example, when phonograph newly arrived, Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) wrote a poem, it starts as:
Voice from phonograph is coming – Find God with heart, not with boasting
These days, cinema and films are common, this invention is useful if used for conveying divine message, educational purpose, but its funfare use is not good even if mixed with conveying divine message.
If we introduce something wrong in MTA or Voice of Islam radio, a hundred harmful innovations will find their way in after some time.
As a terrible example, a newspaper reported, an ignorant clergy was seen swinging along to a song by female Arab singer. Someone asked why? He replied: Cannot you see how beautifully she is reciting the Qur'an!
This is how thoughts alter with the spread of harmful innovations.

It was the practice of the Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace), to take medication from a doctor as well as a native physician.
Sometimes ordinary herbal treatment work better than cure methods by regular doctors.
Some people keep knowledge of certain succeful prescriptions to themselves and do not share. That is one reason, how eastern knowledge faded away comared to others.

Once Allah the Exalted told the Promised Messiah that his Eid sermon was going to be in Arabic and he would be given the knowledge for it. He had indeed never formally spoken in Arabic before. Hazrat Musleh Maud says he was a child at the time so he did not understand the sermon at all but he recalled listening to the entire sermon intently owing to the highly spiritual state of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace).

Once the revered mother (r.a.) of Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) was not being well despite taking medicine for many days. ……There was revelation of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) about special blessing for Mubarak-Mosque. Thus the son, gave medicine to mother in that mosque, and soon she felt better by grace of Allah.

Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) advised Ahmadi doctors to convey divine message to ills too since patients have soft hearts.

Islamic covering does not mean a woman should not get proper air for breathing, or necessary medical treatment if lady doctor is not available.

Once Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) remarked that if man acted with righteousness he may marry one hundred times…….Then some people thought that he meant man can marry more than four women……. The matter was taken before him (on whom be peace) he explained what he had said meant that if a man's wife died or he got divorced he can re-marry. In some religions one cannot re-marry at all and the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) had explained matters with that perspective.

Once Hazrat Khalifatul Masih I (may Allah be pleased with him) broke his Salaat when he heard Hazrat Promised Messiah a.s.) calling him, he presented himself before the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) and a couple of other companions also did the same at other times. When someone objected to this, the Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) quoted the following Quranic verse: 'Treat not the calling of the Messenger among you like the calling of one of you to another. Allah does know those of you who steal away covertly. So let those who go against His command beware lest a trial afflict them or a grievous punishment overtake them.' [24:64].There is also the verse: 'O ye who believe! Respond to Allah, and the Messenger when he calls you that he may give you life…'[8:25]
A companion of the Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) had such intense devotion towards his beloved master that by its virtue he wrongly imagined that he was the promised son and the promised reformer. Once when Promised Messiah (a.s.) spoke in a spirited manner and moved his hands, companion leapt and sat near the Promised Messiah (a.s.). ….When someone asked what he did, he said the Promised Messiah had gestured him to come over. His obsessive devotion remained positive and did not take on any negative aspect.

In the time of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) a sect in India thought Friday prayers cannot be offered in India because non-Muslim ruled it. But since Friday Salaat is strongly mentioned in Quran so they would offer it anyway but as precaustionary measure they would offr Zuhr Salaat too.
By the grace of Allah, Ahmadis did not have such confusions / problems. Their hearts and mind did not have any conflict.

In a sitting, once someone said to Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) that many people in our Jama'at shave their beards, he said the real thing is love for Allah, when it will be developed in their hearts, they shall begin to copy us automatically.

Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (may all be his Helper) prayed: May Allah enable us to really understand the teaching of Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) and may the true love of Allah be developed in us, and may each of our deed and act is in accordance with His commandments.

Janazah Salaat in absentia of:
Mr. Abdul Noor Jabi of Syria. He was born in 1989. He was well educated in business management. In the early days of troubles in Syria, once a person borrowed his phone (then it was not objectionable to give phone to others) and made call to rebels about money transaction. Agencies arrested Mr. Jabi, and due to call, they said he had link with rebels, he was tortured and martyred……..Rebels and governmenst official are alike in doing oppression. The news of his death came to his family on 22 April 2013. Inna lillahey wa inna elahey rajeon. His grandfather is old time Ahmadi. The martyr was healthy strong man of high morals and kind heart…….. Before his birth, his mother saw a dream that a boy is born to you, you have given birth to Noor. Latter Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah IV (may Allah have mercy on him) granted him name ‘Abdul Noor’. Last thing he spoke to his sister was: If I am a true Ahmadi, I should learn to forgive others….May Allah the Exalted raise his status, and grant patience to all family…..Prayer should be done for Syria. Due to oppression of government, rebel group stood, now both have increased in oppressions, the third group is of Daesh which is setting barbaric examples by abusing the name of Islam. The noble people and Ahmadis who have no link with these three groups are being oppressed. May Allah the Exalted have mercy, and have mercy on this country, and save the country from oppressors soon. [Aameen]
