Was there ever even the slightest chance of failure?

NO chance to fail? Try 100 precent. What meaning? A try- that worked as it happened- to snatch victory, of any kind, from defeat. Their guy is dead, but, tell everyone he isnt. ( half god kings who die and will return show up in other religions) And about the time the Jews lose their...

    Genesis - Big Bang mash-up

I see where you're coming from, maybe. As in how a quick goog gives "science cannot disprove" or some such. I think our way of looking at words and ideas here is different from in the West. Even "love" does not really translate into Chinese. The issue I suppose is in the concept of...

Is forced labour in prisons ethical?

Only you can settle whether it's ethical in your view. When I said " everything is conditional" I could have said it depends om infinite what- ifa that i consider pointless.

Is forced labour in prisons ethical?

Everything is conditional. Of course some cannot be expected to work. Nobody would dispute that. A listing here of such exceptions would be tedious and pointless. And speaking of point, what's the point of your thread here?

    Genesis - Big Bang mash-up

    A. Why did you say it doesn't do disproof? B. What do you mean by "rejection"?

    Genesis - Big Bang mash-up

Yes. Long since. Assuming by "God" you mean the one described in the Bible. That "God" does not exist.

You are actually wrong. Science is quite good at disproof.

    Genesis - Big Bang mash-up

No you don't. There is no proven science. And nobody offers to disprove "god ", whatever that is. Science tho is a whiz at disproving lots of wacky ideas about what some god may have done. Flood, for one. The Noah's Ark bit. Can't get much more ( utterly) absurd than that.

    Genesis - Big Bang mash-up

For ridiculous there was the idea that light things fall as fast as heavy ones. Lots of things like your phone that nobody would have believed. Your versions of physics are kinda ridiculous. But for truly, transcendantly, unutterably ridiculous trying to explain everything by concocting a...

Why Jesus did not Rule the first time, but will Rule the second time?

In revelation they seem importunate and rude.
