Democrat Lt. Governor wants to pardon voter fraud in Pennsylvania.

My reply to the survey is “neither of the above. 10 years is a bit harsh, and Pardons are always done without explanation and sometimes without reason.

    Did Christ really exist ?

So the story goes. How do we verify it is true?

    Liberals: Moderates vs. Progressives

I am fairly progressive, but the whole political spectrum is a huge sliding scale. However, I can see portions of even the conservative mindset that are useful, such as fiscal responsibility. But the problem with that is of course, the right seems only to care about fiscal responsibility when...

    Is Time a Fact?

Whether or not it is an illusion or not seems not to matter in practical terms. We experience time and must act accordingly.

    Why Does God permit Suffering?

I thin it all boils down to "sh*t happens". The universe is not interested in anyone's happiness.

    Did Christ really exist ?

There are scholars who think he did, and scholars who think he did not. Both have some compelling evidence. So the jury is still out. But it is one thing to say a name named Jesus existed, and quite another to prove the man walked on water, cast demons into pigs, and rose from the dead.

Democrat Lt. Governor wants to pardon voter fraud in Pennsylvania.

I think 10 years in prison is a bit harsh, but perhaps 30 days in the local jail plus community service? Hard to say without knowing the entire circumstance. One illegal vote won't exactly undo the entire voting system, but it has to be demonstrated that consequences exist.

    Gravity and the Expanding Universe

    Words Becoming Strange &/or Obsolete

It's good that folks are getting more exercise. Once the pandemic is under control, most of those bikes will be gathering dust in the garage, abandoned for the trusty SUV, though. Not saying that's a good thing....

    The Unforgivable Sin Contradiction

So are you saying we should forgive all debts? Cool, can you loan me a million or two? :p I don't quite see how this corrects the problem of god sinning, which is the conclusion your post leads to.

    Atheists: Your Perception of God

When having a conversation about a god, it is the other person who believes in a god, therefore I am always discussing their version of a god. I do not have a "version" of something that I do not believe exists.

    Words Becoming Strange &/or Obsolete

I can’t even imagine riding down a rutted trail on iron rims. My kidneys begin to hurt just thinking about it. The pioneers had more grit than I could possibly muster.

Yes, they are still in use, but in spite of temporary spikes for bicycles, their use has diminished. Most other tires in use (vast majority) no longer use tubes. I think in the future, tubeless might come to dominate bicycle tires as well. The jury is still out on that one, though. The problem...

    Did Christianity Start with Jesus?

Well, I’m not sure he even existed. But no matter. Yes, he also supposedly said none of the law shall be changed until the heavens snd earth pass away. Fulfilling something is not ending or abolishing it. When you fulfill a request from a friend, you do not negate the request, you do what...

    The Unforgivable Sin Contradiction

curious statement. That would mean that god is sinning when he does not forgive someone. Or god is forgiving everyone, so hell is an empty place. Or do you special plead for a different morality for god?
