On screen female puberty. Oh My!!

So, I feel like I want to get a feminist perspective (and maybe a little later a bit more of a “general one”) on the fairly recent-ish depictions of female puberty in media. And how they differ from previous generations/eras. I might focus a bit more on the youth programming, but all are...

    What are Hamas' leaders thinking?

It’s interesting to hear accounts of folks reaction to Hitler’s suicide. The common response is seemingly that it was “like breaking free of a spell.” Maybe that’s their common excuse/justification. But that’s always intrigued me somewhat.

    Vegetarians/Vegans: What Your Favorite "Burger?"

Truth be told, even though I’m a huge carnivore, I’m beyond curious to try those. I actually kind of prefer Hungry Jack’s/Burger King burgers to Mickey D’s, so maybe I’d love it. I think our local McDonalds are selling plant based burgers now. If they are, I could compare and contrast lol...

How can some Americans support a traitor for a President?

Ahh. Yeah I can see that posing several issues, to say the least. I was honestly a bit surprised that we have more guns since our big tragedy that changed our laws. But I guess we haven’t had any big ones since, so eh. We learnt our lesson, hopefully

How can some Americans support a traitor for a President?

I’m not entirely sure of the limits, per se. I don’t think you can just have any gun you like. But I’m fairly sure you can store them at home. It does slightly differ state to state, as in the outback, rifles are probably pretty common. As they are often needed for farming and protection I do...

How can some Americans support a traitor for a President?

Out of curiosity I decided to see our gun owner rates. We actually have more guns and (licensed) gun owners than we did prior to the Port Arthur Massacre. Which was the incident that basically made the country tighten gun laws. My country, Australia, has 3.9 million guns for reference

    Culture Wars

What I’m about to say may be considered blasphemy in Australia, but I hate beer in general. Though I will still go to any beer festivals just to try out differing ones. I swear there was a Swedish or German one I liked. But I can’t remember lol On another note. I’m beyond sick of “go woke, go...

    Culture Wars

Maybe it’s because I’m not American, but I still can’t figure out that boycott. Or if it was a stunt to get a boycott in order for the brand to get in the news lol Like the company gave a trans person some beer to promote because she had a whole heap of followers. That makes sense from a...

UK PM Rishi Sunak: "A man is a man, and a woman is a woman, that's just common sense"

Whilst I agree. I don’t think asking for that level of detail is always necessarily done for a bad reason. People are often naturally curious about differing phenomenons. Particularly recent ones. And the “trans phenomenon” (for lack of a better phrase) is starting to become more and more...
