Non believers have absolute conviction in the fact that there is no God. Believers have the complete opposite view so there is a clash. But this clash is amazing because believers and non believers learn from the dispute and great ideas come from it.
These early existential philosophers took on the thought that making an effort with something was less of a virtue. Compared to Catholicism which considers laziness as a deadly sin. I'm not an expert on the subject.
Yeah your on to something.. Physical harm is something that can be easily avoided. But emotional harm is very vast and quite hard to avoid. proselytizing this ism can provoke emotional harm for instance.
