After meeting his Imam, my suspicions were confirmed. The Imam repeatedly had cautioned my son to "take it slow," as this was a huge commitment. He also told me that my son was a bit of a zealot: dressed in garb often seen in centuries past yet rarely donned in this country.
I don't want this to be overly confrontational, in case he's packing a scimitar or something.
