    What is a spirit?

    I'm just wondering what a spirit was biblically. Of course God is a Spirit, we have a spirit, then there is the Holy Spirit which is God. So, what would be a "biblical dictionary" answer to my question? It seems like in the bible spirit is used in several different ways... like heart for us.

    Baptist Christian

    I am 16, I am home-schooled and I plan on attending the U.S Military Academy when I hit 19. I was saved when I was 3 1/2 years old and I have been Baptist ever since. I like to find the truth and nothing but the truth. I guess thats why I read history. I am also a republican and I am for the war.
