The Trial

You asked me what the crime was and apparently you knew what the crime was. You are not being honest. Why is that?
I see a lot of that. I think it's because as die-hard Trump supporters see more and more of the "real Trump," they have to either hunker down harder, or admit that they were duped, and should have seen through him long before now. Admitting that one was really, really gullible -- if not plain dumb -- is a tough pill to swallow. Easier to hunker down harder.

I am waiting to see if the judge is going to rule that Trump violated his gag order. He was lying about Cohen yesterday and he is off limits because he is a witness. If we are lucky we could see Trump going to jail before the end of the trial. But just for a day or so.
It seems the judge is putting pressure on Bland to force him to control Trump. I agree with some pundits who want Trump to sit in a cell when they say it could help him raise money, and could even inspire his dangerous base to act with violence. So far there's been little to no Trump support outside the courthouse. It's as if his supporters aren't any more interested in what happens to him than his family members.

Trump looks defeated in court, and I wonder if his supporters are seeing him as a loser.

We are seeing less support for Trump on this forum by the usual suspects. The support is coming as more passive than direct. Claims of fake charges, he did nothing wrong, what crimes did he commit, the judge is biased, etc.

I don't see anyone saying how much better Trump would be as the next president than Biden.

What I noticed about Trump's gag order violations is that he's claiming it is political speech. Well since he walks out of court with dozens of cameras why not take advantage of free publicity and make some policy statements? The guy keeps performing for his base, and independents are going to get tired of the man baby complaining about being grounded. He's not that smart. He committed crimes, he bragged about them, he got caught, now he's being tried. The guy's not fit.

That combover looks less convincing and he looks tired after a few hours. I wonder how much his image will be damaged by those visuals, and the spectacle of him having to sit there for hours with his mouth shut.

So you are the four year old.
I guess so. But I'll try to make my thread titles more "mature" in the future. It will be difficult as I have entered my second childhood. [wink]
