So now we are back full circle. Evidence for god please...
Hi ChristineM. Good afternoon. Romans 1 says:

"20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and majesty; that they may be without excuse: 21 because that, knowing Yahweh, they did not glorify him as Elohim, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible Elohim for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things."

Yahweh is invisible. However, his acts, His creative power is demonstrated by what we see all around us. This entire planet, this universe, the "creation of the world are clearly seen", the splendor of Yahweh's creative power. If you think that all these things could have possible arisen from a cloud of gas, then what can I say? I say it's absurd.

I don't have a problem believing in the Word. The questions atheists ask simply aren't in my mind. Worship a gas cloud if you want to. Worship man and birds, and four-footed beasts and creeping things if you want to. Give credibility to the theory of evolution if you want to. Sure, if the “big bang” occurred, all the matter in the universe was once a hot gas. A gas is one of the most random systems known to science. Random, chaotic movements of gas molecules contain no useful information. Because an isolated system, such as the universe, cannot generate non-trivial information, the “big bang” could not produce the complex, living universe we have today, which contains astronomical amounts of useful information.

You may believe whatever you like.

And you knowledge of the evolution of the universe is tainted with your religious bias. You cannot say "x" cannot do this because it has done it with no evidence that a god had a hand in it.

I think.your problem here is you are disregarding over 13 billion years in which gravity caused that random gas to clump and form suns, from which the elements required for life and everything else we know of now formed.

It Aint Necessarily So

I'll bet you have no objection to the idea of a tri-omni god existing undesigned and uncreated. How much information does that represent, and where did it come from?

God did it.

Always a great answer.

What gives mass to Higgs Boson?

His priest? Who gives you mass? Incidentally, you misspelled Boston.

I know that my God exists.

I thought you were a Christian? Isn't your god the one that supposedly never lies yet claimed to generate life without abiogenesis and biological evolution? Bad news. Those can't both be true, whatever the truth actually is, it's not that an honest god is responsible for life on earth. That's been ruled out. Either the theory is correct, or if it is ever falsified, we are left with a deceptive intelligent designer as the only alternative explanation for why we have so much deceptive evidence that biological evolution did take life forward from the first life to the tree of life we find today.

I have faith in Jesus Christ.
Obviously you do, but others have faith in other Gods and deontological systems. All lack evidence. They're based on familiarity, emotion and fear. They're insubstantial, unevidenced and cannot withstand scrutiny.

This is just an explanation of what you believe in. What is your support for this belief?
