The Son loves the Father and the Father loves the Son. The Son gives understanding to those He chooses. I'm sure you are familiar with 1 Corinthians 15 showing that Jesus will reign as king until God put all enemies under his feet. Verse 28 explains more. The Son will subject himself to the Father after that. Makes sense to me ..how about you? The Son is very powerful having been given that power.
1Cor 15:24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.
All power and authority is now in the hands of the Son who rules. The Father is serving the Son and putting all things under His feet. Then to bring the order of all things back to what it was before the creation, the Son gives the Kingdom to God His Father. When it says that "he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet" it means that He must reign
alone until then. Then the Son reigns alongside the Father and all things that are the Fathers still belong to the Son. Everything is back to how it was before the creation.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
Rev 3:14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.
Daniel 7:14 And to him was given dominion
and glory and a kingdom,
that all peoples, nations, and languages
should serve him;
his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away,
and his kingdom one
that shall not be destroyed.
Psalm 89:27 And I will make him the firstborn,
the highest of the kings of the earth.
covenant will stand firm for him.
offspring forever
and his throne as the days of the heavens.
Luke 1:32
He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!”…
I see a natural order in the Godhead, with is reflected in the creation, the Son is subject to the Father and inherits (and so owns) all that is the Father's (and I mean everything, name, glory, power, nature etc) and I guess you see the Son as a creation of God's and it being all about that. But the Son is not a creation of God's if "all things that came into existence, came into existence through Him" John 1:3
